Bernard LaSalle Receives Sub-Award From Vanderbilt University and CTSA

We would like to congratulate Bernard LeSalle for receiving a subaward from Vanderbilt University Medical Center through the Vanderbilt/Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) Network Recruitment Innovation Centers titled  Improving Clinical Trial Education, Recruitment, and Enrollment at CTSA Hubs.

Bernie LaSalle

Bernard LaSalle, B.S.

The application proposes a set of innovative, integrated solutions to recruitment and enrollment approaches that accommodate real ethical, regulatory, legal, practical, and technical constraints faced by investigators which will be available through the Improving Clinical Trial Education, Recruitment, and Enrollment at CTSA Hubs (I-CERCH) Center.

Underlying these solutions will be a national, shared disease-neutral and informatics supported system that supports enrollment for each trial. I-CERCH will extend and build upon existing ‘precursor’ recruitment and data tools and resources already in use by our team and others, such as ResearchMatch, Record Counter, REDCap, TrialFinder, and Subject Locater to build a sophisticated informatics-based recruitment infrastructure which will be paired with study-specific support provided by recruitment specialists and study-specific recruitment materials.
