Dr. Kensaku Kawamoto has been appointed by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT as the Initiative Coordinator of Health eDecisions (www.healthedecisions.org). Health eDecisions is a public-private collaborative initiative aimed at developing and validating standards to enable clinical decision support at scale. Standards developed and validated by this initiative will be available to federal policy makers for potential inclusion in future EHR certification requirements.
