Dr. Qing Zeng, Associate Professor of the University of Utah, Department of Biomedical Informatics and students and staff - Carrie Christensen, Brent Hill, Jinqiu Kuang, Seneca Perri, Seraphine Kapsandoy and Joshua Proulx created a one minute public service announcement (PSA) and entered it into a video contest sponsored by the University of Utah’s Health Literacy Interest Group. The video entitled “My Plate” won first place. The PSA will be aired on a local TV station, featured on Dr. Vivian Lee’s blog, and promoted on university web sites and social media outlets.
