Joseph Finkelstein Inducted Fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics

Congratulations to Dr. Joseph Finkelstein for being inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics (FACMI)! He is one of 23 new Fellows who will be inducted on November 12th at American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) 2023 Annual Symposium. You can read more about this year’s inductees here.

Dr. Finkelstein is a pioneer of informatics-empowered telehealth and the General Chair of the 22nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIME 2024) that will be held here in SLC. He is very deserving of this FACMI designation, which is one of distinction and pride. Fellows represent excellence from academia, government, and industry. They are leaders of the field, as they demonstrate leadership, extraordinary experience, and proven scholarship. They improve human health due to their contributions to biomedicine and healthcare as well as educate and inspire the informatics community and the next generation of informaticists.
